Can you imagine having a shopping trip to Walmart turn into a dramatic episode that ends in your child being hit by a total stranger and having to file charges? That’s apparently what happened recently in a Walmart in Georgia. After the girl had started crying, the sixty something year old man didn’t just hit the child once, but multiple times after telling the mother “if you don’t shut her up, I’ll do it for you”.

The mugshot provided an image that proved that he indeed looked like an old grumpy man who would have no tolerance or patience for a crying child. But how he would think that the way he handled it could have been an option, I’m not sure. We’ve all had our moments of irritation due to not only our own whining and crying children, but others out in public as well. But it’s still hard to believe that someone would have the audacity to put their hands on someone elses child right in front of the parent? I guess a crying child could maybe considered something like noise pollution? Either way, there’s always the option of complaining to staff and then leaving. But this guy obviously had some other issues going on.
