This Week In Parent Blogging

Posted by Laurel on June 3rd, 2009

This is going to sound totally harsh, but I was a little turned off by this post. I had family members that had guinea pigs, so I know people love them, but I’ve came to the conclusion that I don’t. Cats, dogs or a fish or two are all fine by me but I don’t quite get what’s so great about this animal that looks like a cross between a rabbit and rat. I feel that it’s great for parents out there to blog about all the births and deaths in their lives, but there’s got to be a limit. You’ve been warned. Guinea Birth

Since I feel terribly guilty for slamming one mom’s blog post, I’ll quickly give love to anothers ;) Here’s a post from a mom’s who’s plugging herself and her talents and there’s nothing to hate on concerning that! She takes some nice photogs! Mom Photographer

I just love when parents encourage and love for their children to have close relationships. Sure, there will be moments with them all and I’m sure some brothers and sisters are so different that getting them to connect is as likely as acid wash coming back, but for all the parents out there that spot it and encourage it, I’m on board. Sister Love

I’m fascinated by adoption and their stories. I’m perplexed how unnatural, yet natural this part of our experience is. Here’s a post and a blog that can give great insight on it. Adoption Experience

This blogger is on a mission & it’s definitely strays a bit from taking pictures of Charlie peeing into the cheerio. I’m not suggesting you may be able to survive through the whole post (it’s a long one) but damn if it doesn’t make alot of sense! Bravo! Teaching Children
