Jon & Kate Drama Continues

Posted by Laurel on May 8th, 2009

I guess Jon & Kate’s kids aren’t the only ones in need of attention these days. Seems that the trouble in paradise has been confirmed after Jon has fessed up & admitted that he had poor judgment concerning leaving a night club w/another woman other than his wife.

So is divorce a realistic option for these two, probably not. It gives a whole new meaning to “staying for the kids”. I hear the people that say that people use children, money etc. as an excuse to stay in an unhappy marriage, however sometimes that’s just the reality of the situation. How is someone supposed to “move on” with that many kids, I mean seriously. I hear all of those “leave him” preachers. I used to be one of them, lol. And while I do believe that it’s within anyone’s power to do whatever it is that they want to do in life, there are always consequences to be weighed. I can imagine that due to Kate & Jon’s stardom, they may have the funds financially to split. But can someone really physically parent that many children by themselves? Maybe as they get older?

So what is Jon’s problem? Is he overwhelmed & looking for a way to escape? Is his wife too much of a dictator? Is he unable to get the attention he needs while his wife is devoting so much of her time caring for their children and promoting their life? Is he just selfish, does he have the Peter Pan syndrome? All of these are possibilities, but regardless, the children need to be raised and I doubt they will be splitting anytime soon. Hopefully whatever they do, he won’t get one of these late night toys pregnant!
