This puts in question if part of being a "good" parent is being able to provide that example of marriage/committment or if you can actually separate the two & say that you can actually be a good parent w/out that at all?

Thx for your feedback Courtney. I understanding that point of view & even myself realized after writing the post that I have conflicted perspectives on this. On one hand I see where a committment to each other would be the best example & most ideal situation - but on the other hand, I see where kids are knocked out of having two parents simply b/c the "committment" b/w two people doesn't work out. So maybe co-parenting is the middle ground of the two when it comes to parenting?

I don't see this as a good thing at all. The would be parents have no commitment, no plans for a future relationship. It doesn't make any sense to me why someone would allow them to adopt together.

I do agree that more of these stars should adopt stateside...there are so many kids who need good homes!
