		<description>Yep, you said it, awareness. I don't recall any women in my family ever discussing depression. Whether they were just in denial, never had any or just didn't talk about it, I'm not sure. Regardless, it will definitely be something that I will discuss with my own children when they are older.</description>

		<description>I hate to see those statistics but that doesn't surprise me, at all.  Just like you said, there is a pressure to appear happy and depression often goes undiagnosed.  The good news is that with all of the books and studies and mother's willing to share their stories, I think awareness of it is increasing.
