Graduations Aren’t Just For Teens

Posted by Laurel on April 19th, 2008

Time flies when you have children. One day they’re stuck to your leg like glue the next they are taking their SAT’s. There are milestones for all kids which consist of graduating from pre-k to elementary, elementary to junior high, junior high to high school, high school to college and then from college of into the “real world” where graduations aren’t recognized anymore as graduation…rather life transitions. Celebrating those transitions is a good thing, for change is good! A tear or two can be expected, but that’s growth.

One thing that I’ve discovered recently is graduation announcements for the little ones. So now you can invite your friends and family to daycare or elementary graduation and mention a party with ice-cream afterwards. How fun is that?
I guess high school graduation’s aren’t the only milestone to look forward to. Everyone loves for an excuse to celebrate, and I guess now we have another reason to show our kids how proud we are.

Isn’t that cute? This would also make a nice addition to a scrapbook.

I wonder what other fun celebrations for kids we can come up with. After all, being a kid is the best time of your life! Why should all the “fun stuff” be saved for adults?

By the way, if your high schooler happens to be graduating this season, check out these graduation announcements. They are a lot more unique then the ones you get from the school.

I am fortunate to have three children graduating this year, so I needed three different graduation announcements cards. Luckily, I was able to find unique and inexpensive graduation invitations cards for my daughter’s my son’s and by oldest daughter’s .These sites have unique graduation invitations, and you can use my own wordings with lots of sample graduation sayings for me to use. I ordered from and the graduation invitations announcements cards were beautiful. I got lots of compliments.
