I really tried breastfeeding too. But the pain was terrible, I had a plugged duct, and the baby wasn’t gaining weight fast enough. I made the decision to start bottle feeding her and I’ve been happy ever since!! And I’m sorry but I don’t feel guilty at all. I can work now and not worry about taking breaks to pump, and I don’t have to stress about it anymore. Plus, I honestly don’t think breast feeding makes that much of a difference (I’ll probably get shot for saying that). My niece is 2 and a half years old and she never had a drop of breast milk, and she’s the smartest little girl I’ve ever seen. My friends daughter is 2 and the mom still breastfeeds her occasionally (sorry, but gross) and she doesn’t talk or really do anything… So I think it’s just better to do what feels right for you and not worry about what other people say about you because it’s none of their damn business anyway!
