Cabin Fever
Oh, you knew this post was coming, didn’t you? Cabin Fever is what happens when the rest of the world moves on from the holidays, but for some reason your little angels are still bouncing off the walls at home. Holiday treats are still in the fridge, new, messy toys are strewn about the house, and the temperature outside is awful.
Remember when you were a kid and you winter break was like an eternity?Well, let me tell you what it looks like from the adult side: Still an eternity!
Oh, and I figured out why everyone drops their New Year’s resolutions by the first week: cause the kiddos are here sabotaging everything: “Mom, can we bake cookies?” “Let’s go to McDonalds for lunch!”
Dear childrens’ schools,
Please do not be astounded when I show up three hours early to drop my kids off on Monday morning. I just want my house and life back!
Sincerely, ParentingDiva
PS- Yes I realize this is what SAHMs deal with everyday. Been there, done that and still recovering.

Ahhh yes, Christmas Break! Two weeks off from school spent doing nothing but enjoying every single toy brought by “Santa Claus”! I’d do anything to live it all over again. Christmas just isn’t the same when you’re older.
