My children love Yo Gabba Gabba. They kept telling me about this show and one day I decided to sit down and watch it with them. I laughed until I cried. The show is so 70s-esque, and I was not even alive in the 70s. As an African American I didn't know if I should be offended or amused...needless to say, they still watch it and I encourage it. It seems healthy enough! LOL! Too funny! My children love Yo Gabba Gabba. They kept telling me about this show and one day I decided to sit down and watch it with them. I laughed until I cried. Sadly that one little glimpse is enough for him to say it's one of his favorite shows. I haven't been brave enough to watch a full episode. I have gotten used to it, and became more accepting of it once I found out that two guys from the Aquabats (an awesome ska band) created it. It reminds me of Electric Company and Sesame Street in the 80s (before it became "The Elmo Show" :) Thanks for the great tips! My dd has always watched tv, but we make it a family event and interact with what's going on on the screen. My 2 year old loves this show! They squint their eyes at the screen and say "no..no..." They prefer Dora and Diego. I thought the commercials for Yo Gabba Gabba looked cool... but it just may be a little too weird.
